We totally believe in happily ever after...
We currently live in the growing city of Austin, TX, but grew up eight miles outside the small town of Fredericksburg, TX. I am still in denial that I live in a big city not a small town. I will forever be a country girl at heart.
I believe that during the cool of the day, one should spend as much time outdoors as possible. Sadly, in Texas, that time is non-existent for the summer, which lasts a minimum of five months. I love to garden (and by "garden," I mean buy new, beautiful plants and plant them, hoping they are strong enough to make in the world without me having to do anything else to them...).
My favorite place in the world to be is with my husband, Cosmo – go ahead and throw up in your mouth a little, but it’s true. And our favorite place to be together is in Kauai.
I live and die by my Morning Routine. It is where the original concept of “Soul Anchoring” came from.
I love for things to be clean and organized. This requires much Cosmo-wrangling. I don’t do it as much as I used to, but it still happens on occasion that if Cosmo leaves me home alone for a weekend, he comes back to at least one room rearranged and at least one new decorative element or completed DIY project.
I enjoy exercise especially in the form of walking and swimming and occasionally high-intensity interval training.
I don't have any children, but I do have a cat named Chiana (she's a Bengal breed). I never thought I'd be one of those annoying people who treat their pets like a child...but I totally am.
I love Jesus and serving others and planning events and random acts of kindness at the grocery store.
I believe great relationships can be a sanctuary for weary souls.
I love to talk to people about ways to create and foster awesome relationships. I believe exceptional relationships with unshakeable foundations anchor our souls and free us to soar through the adventurous lives we were created for.
